We are a successful family-run company that is now managed by the third generation. The decisive factor for our success is the performance of our workforce – and here above all our numerous (more than 1,000) foreign employees who have been performing valuable work for many years and have stood loyally by our company. A loss of the work by our key workers in the slaughtering and cutting processes would equate to a shutdown of our plants on all processing levels. We would like to emphasise this fact as the work of these employees does not receive the appreciation it deserves among the general public.

Unsere Covidmaßnahmen

Die Pandemie war für uns als systemrelevanter Betrieb besonders herausfordernd. Wir haben mit einer intensiven Präventions-Strategie versucht unsere Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter vor einer Ansteckung zu schützen. Die Investitionen, die dafür notwendig wurden, haben sich rentiert – wir konnten Clusterbildungen in den Betrieben vermeiden und sind unbeschadet aus der Krise gekommen. Großer Dank gilt der Disziplin unserer Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter, die trotz schwerer körperlicher Arbeit in den Schlacht- und Zerlegebetrieben seit über einem Jahr die FFP2-Masken ganztägig tragen.

Training programme

For young executives, we offer a trainee programme that provides an overview of all plants and an insight into the respective activities. Our young executives are selected every year within the framework of an assessment centre. Registration is via our career portal.

Apprenticeships

Since 2019, we have been continuously investing in the training of apprentices and have been able to recruit young, hard-working employees at several of our sites. Our apprenticeship programme is also aimed at students who leave college without a qualification or at young people who are interested in a stable job with numerous career opportunities.

Seminar for managers

Our managers undergo regular training within the framework of manager seminars. These seminars are organised and conducted by the University of Applied Sciences in Villach.
